Filled rings do not obey layers

Filled rings are always stuck in the background layer. This is a problem when a colored ring needs to be placed into a filled box. Only the bonds show up in the foreground. See attachment below. The first ring is in front of the box, the second ring is in the background. The bonds behave as expected but the ring color doesn't.

    Yes, Gareth reported this bug during beta for V20 last year:

    At that time I capitalized on his observation and reported additional observations on broken Up-Down overlay order for highlighted bonds and atoms as well:

    Let me to confirm, both previously reported bugs (12, 54) are still unaddressed.

    Yup, I was about to make the same comment (if I remember correctly, I highlighted this last year as well). Ring-fill is always the lowest layer so you have the problem in the drawing Juha has posted about when interacting objects. Or, if you have overlapping rings (see picture), the colour does not follow the layer of the ring.
