MacBook Air M1 MacOs 12.0.1
If I try to change the font to Times, it appears to be there in the font menu, but Chemdraw wont change to it. Picture 1. And for some reason when I choose a template Chemdraw tells me I dont have Times. Picture 2. But both Word and Text Edit think I do have Times installed. Pictures 3 and 4.
I think this is a bug in MacOS Monterry 12.0.1. I just upgraded to MacOS 12 from MacOS 11 on my machine running Chemdraw 20. Chemdraw 20 now complains that Times is not installed....
It seems that upgrading to MacOS 12 from MacOS 11 uninstalls the Times font....
It's a bit weird because Times is still present in Word and in TextEdit, but not in Font Book. I dont know where applications get their Fonts from. But it seems that with a 'standard' installation of Monterrey that Chemdraw cant see the Times font. (But if you manually install it using Font Book, then Chemdraw does see it)
