Grouping objects bug

Noticed this on a number of occassions when using orbitals or shapes. The group function >cmd+g< doesn't just group the objects in the lasso but also groups with nearby objects. This then makes alignment etc impossible. Normally if you cut the object and then paste it else on the page (after magnifying page so that you can't see other objects) it behaves. As the video below shows ... not this time. I managed to group just one set of objects but as soon as I moved them back next to the 'problem' they ungrouped.

Unfortunately this is not a one off.
