Alignment of Chemical Formulas

Mac OS Big Sur v11.6

There is no automatic way to align these formulas (see attaced file). The superscripts and subscripts are treated the same as the atoms, so interfere with the alignments.

    obviously I've up-voted this one ... I commented on the same probelm earlier (text alignment). Never know if it is better to have more votes or more examples ;) can't hurt to do both.
